JOELYNN T. STOKES, LLPC
Joelynn's interest in the field of psychology was sparked in high school. Thus, it was no surprise that her first declared undergraduate major at Vanderbilt University was in the field of psychology. While Joelynn's career path momentarily took her away from the field as she pursued her law degree, her career has now brought her full circle, allowing her to return to her love of psychology.
Joelynn received a Master's Degree in Counseling, and was licensed by the State of Michigan as a Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC). Joelynn has provided competency assessments, divorce counseling and family counseling services for several years. Because of her experience, she is frequently appointed by Family Court and Probate Court judges to provide services to families in conflict. Joelynn is also a referral counselor for the State Bar of Michigan's Lawyer and Judges Assistance Program.
Joelynn provides personal
counseling, life coaching, career and educational counseling, pre-marital
counseling, marriage counseling, divorce counseling, family counseling,
as well as spiritual counseling. Her goal is to help individuals and families
achieve the abundant life by guiding them to their inner peace that lies
within.
